Our Gurkee's rope is superior, high quality custom made for comfortable sandals. We actually purchased our own rope manufacturing facility to create this special rope for your foot comfort. We call it ComfortTwist™.
Adjustable
Looking for a nice snug fit?... Never worry because some styles have a comfortable heel strap that can be adjusted by sliding the heel strap up or down the side straps to tighten or loosen your fit.
Customer after customer tells us that every where they go, someone usually stops them to ask where they got their sandals. With over 30 years in the market and now worn around the world, these sandals have never went out of style. Drop them in the ocean or pool? Just fish them right off the water because they float. Machine Wash and Dry
Chlorine and salt water resistant, float in the water and if you step in dirt or mud, just throw them in the wash with your laundry and dry in the dryer then you're ready for another day. How many other sandals and shoes can you do that with?

Why are Gurkee's so soft and stylish for over 30 years? Casual never goes out of style so we put style into casual. Your Gurkee's are handmade in a state-of-the-art facility in Morgantown, WV. This where your sandals become a reality with the first step, which is with our custom designed rope from carpet yarn we call Comfort Twist™ rope. This rope is specially twisted to be a soft comfortable twist friendly to your feet, then carefully handmade by local Artisans through many different steps heat welding them by hand to create a work of rope art that you can wear.

History About Handmade In USA
Your Gurkee's Sandals are the Original Rope Sandals sold in mass production since 1984.
In 2009 Gurkee's was purchased by Ray Sickles of Morgantown, WV USA.
Later in 2010 to improve product quality, consistency, better deliverability, product flexibility and manufacturing control, Gurkee's manufacturing was moved from the Mexican manufacturer in Juarez Mexico to Sickles' home town of Morgantown, WV USA.
In Morgantown, the product was improved and engineered to provide the most comfortable fit, quality, consistency and durability than ever. The footbed was re-designed to a friendly foot shape for a better fit, the attention to detail was improved by hiring local American Artisans to provide expert quality control. In addition, a rope manufacturing facility was added in Morgantown to be able to provide a nice soft Comfort Twist™ rope. The yarn in the rope is purchased solely in the USA and we now have the ability to create rope in a multitude of color combinations, blends, twists and colors.
Gurkee's® Sandals are made of soft polypropylene carpet yarn from South Eastern USA. This yarn is trucked to our facility in Morgantown, WV where it is twisted into a soft 3 strand rope with approximately 3,000 soft poly fibers.

Warranty Information
6 month warranty from this store on soles and straps. We will repair product or replace product with like or similar product if unable to fix. Customer is responsible for providing proof of purchase from this web site and shipping product back to us at customer's cost for replacement or repair. We will ship back at our expense to all USA addresses via USPS.
