Haven Wooden Wick & Coconut Wax

We wanted to touch on the subject of the wax we use and how our candles differ from others.

First, we hand pour all of our candles. Since 2014, we have been testing different ways to make our candles throw the best scent and last longer. Using coconut wax was the best choice for us (see why below), and through trial and error we have found the best fragrance oils that have wonderful hot and cold throws. Discovering wooden wicks was an extra bonus! You will love the crackling sound they emit!

Why we use coconut wax:

-Coconut oil is obtained via a natural process which is from a majority of ‘high-melt’ coconut oil blended with other natural waxes. It is made from cold-pressed Coconut meat, just like Coconut Oil. 

-Coconut wax burns slowly and cleanly, and throws scent extremely well.

-Coconut wax has been overlooked by the candle industry because it is more expensive per pound. We think it's well worth it!

-Coconut wax holds a higher volume of fragrance.

-They are the most eco-friendly on the market.
